Accessibility Statement

Section 1

Our commitment

Pyyrah Limited is committed to making Pyyrah+ accessible to people with disabilities. We treat accessibility as a product requirement, not an afterthought. We aim for pyyrahplus.com and the app at app.pyyrahplus.com to be usable by everyone, regardless of ability, device, or assistive technology.

Accessibility work is never finished. If you encounter a barrier on any part of our site or product, we want to know - see Section 6 for how to tell us.

Section 2

Standards we work to

We target the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. These are the international standard for digital accessibility, used in UK law for public-sector bodies under the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018. As a private business we are not legally required to meet these standards, but we adopt them as our baseline and aim to exceed them where we can.

We are also guided by the EN 301 549 European standard, which incorporates WCAG, and by accessibility best practice published by the W3C and UK Government Digital Service.

Section 3

What's accessible today

The current state of accessibility across Pyyrah+:

  • Keyboard navigation - every interactive element on pyyrahplus.com is reachable and operable using a keyboard only. Tab order follows logical reading order. Focus states are visible.
  • Screen readers - semantic HTML throughout. Headings are correctly nested. Images have descriptive alt text. Forms have associated labels.
  • Colour contrast - body text meets WCAG AA contrast ratios against backgrounds (verified at design-system level).
  • Text resize - content remains readable when zoomed to 200% in any modern browser.
  • Reduced motion - we respect the user's `prefers-reduced-motion` setting. Animations are disabled or reduced when this is set.
  • Captions - every Reel, walkthrough, and instructional video inside the product has captions baked in. This is also a teaching principle of Pyyrah+ itself.
  • Forms - error messages are descriptive and tied to the specific field that needs attention. Required fields are marked both visually and programmatically.
  • Time-based content - countdown timers do not auto-redirect or block content. Refund windows and similar deadlines are stated in clear text.

Known limitations

We're being honest about gaps rather than claiming full compliance:

  • Older course videos recorded before our captions-on-everything policy took effect may have auto-generated captions rather than human-verified ones. We are progressively re-captioning these. If a specific module is hard to follow, email legal@pyyrahplus.com and we will prioritise that module.
  • PDF templates - some downloadable templates may not be fully tagged for screen reader use. Equivalent markdown versions (which are fully accessible) are available on request from legal@pyyrahplus.com.
  • Third-party widgets - embedded content from third parties (Stripe checkout, social media embeds) may not meet our accessibility standard. We minimise these and ensure equivalent alternative paths exist where possible.
  • The Pyyrah+ app interface at app.pyyrahplus.com is currently undergoing accessibility audit. Initial findings will be addressed in the platform's next major update.

Third-party content

Some parts of the Pyyrah+ experience are delivered through third-party platforms whose accessibility is outside our direct control:

  • Shopify (our course hosting platform) - Shopify publishes its own accessibility statement and works to WCAG 2.1 AA standards. If you encounter a barrier specifically in the Shopify-hosted course player, please tell us and we will raise it with them on your behalf.
  • Stripe Checkout - Stripe maintains accessibility documentation and supports keyboard and screen-reader access in its hosted checkout flow.
  • External LLMs - when you run the 24-Prompt AI Vault against Claude, GPT, or another LLM, that LLM's interface is outside our control. We provide alternative text-based delivery of every prompt so a fully accessible flow is always available.

Reporting an issue

If something on pyyrahplus.com or in the product creates an accessibility barrier for you, we want to know. Email legal@pyyrahplus.com with:

  • The URL or page where the issue happens
  • What you were trying to do
  • What blocked you, with as much detail as you're able to share
  • The assistive technology you're using (screen reader, voice control, etc.), if relevant

Section 7

What happens after you report

We acknowledge accessibility reports within 2 business days. We aim to provide a substantive response (what we've found, what we'll do, when) within 14 days. Critical barriers (something that prevents you using a core function like buying, logging in, or accessing course content) are prioritised and aimed for same-week resolution.

If we can't fix something quickly, we will provide a workable alternative - for example, sending you a transcript instead of a video, or completing a task on your behalf - while the fix is in progress.

Ongoing improvement

We treat accessibility as continuous work, not a one-time check. Practically this means: every new page or feature is reviewed against WCAG 2.2 AA before release; every customer-reported barrier feeds back into the design system; we run periodic audits with external accessibility consultants; and we update this statement when there are material changes.
